MURDER ON HALLOWEEN: Get ready for the guests to have a spooky evening with Murder on Halloween. Mystery is another important part of Halloween so this party game will satisfy the detectives in your party group. Murder on Halloween requires at least 6 players willing to have a ton of fun. This game just screams Halloween party. You will need a deck of playing cards. Remove one King, two Jacks, and number cards. (You can determine the amount of number cards you will need by subtracting 4 from the number of players in the game. The narrator does not get a card.) Pass out the cards to the group and have the players secretly look at their card. The person with the King is the murderer, the players with the jacks you are a police man, if you get a number card you are a villager. Have everyone close their eyes then the narrator says "murder". The murderer will raise their head and "kills" their victim by pointing at them. The narrator will then say "town meeting" and the group opens their eyes. The narrator tells the person who was pointed at that they were "murdered on Halloween" and that player has to reveal if they are a police man or a villager. Then the process is repeated. If the "murderer kills both policeman then they win the game. Older guests can team up with the younger players if they don't understand the rules. During the game the guests who are policemen should use their powers of deduction to try and figure out who the murderer is. Make a guess by saying "Trial" and pointing at the murder suspect after a victim is revealed. Guesses must be made carefully because once the policeman points out a suspect, he reveals him or herself to the murderer... Give the person who discovers the murderer a goodie bag filled with treats.

Keeping the snacks and refreshments handy while playing a Halloween party can be a good idea. Games can get the guest thirsty and extend their appetite, that is why have bowls with snacks and many refreshments around the playing areas. Have breaks in between games for everyone to grab a meal and serve themselves a yummy plate so the guest can continue playing.
