Ghost-Centration a free Halloween Party Game

GHOST-CENTRATION: You'll need party guests who are clever for this Halloween party game. Put it in the party tips notebook: Ghost-Centration is a scary twist on the game "Concentration". Its a Halloween game that is perfect to entertain the younger guests. You will need twelve sticky notes and a marker. Think of six Halloween related words such as ghost, pumpkin, or witch. Choosing words that describe images on paper party supplies such as invitations is a good reinforcing association for young readers. Decorations can be drawn or stamped to match the words especially when guest aren't reading yet. Write each word on the back of two sticky notes (you will have two sticky notes for each word). Put the sticky notes up on the wall in four rows of three each. Players have a chance to turn over two of the stickies to see if a match is made. If they match the words, remove the set of matching sticky notes and award small party favors. If the words do not match, place them back up on the wall and the next player gets his or her turn. You can play this game over and over and the results are different every time. Party ideas which work like this memory boosting game are educational as well as fun. You can give things like chocolate candy and plastic party hats as the party favor prizes for making the correct matches.
